本教材是北京大学对外汉语的主干教材，分为初级（附赠2张CD）、准中级、中级、高级四个部分。
初级部分，适合于零起点及初学汉语的留学生使用,设有单独的语音部分。教材共选取词语1200多个，基本涵盖了汉语词汇等级大纲中的甲级词语；语言点则穷尽了大纲中的甲级语言项目。学习完上下两册书后，基本可以达到HSK的3级水平。 准中级部分，适合于掌握了1000左右词汇的留学生使用，重点训练学习者的读写能力。学习完上下两册书后，基本可以达到 HSK的5级至6级水平。中级部分，适合于掌握了3000左右词汇,以话题理论进行编写，课文每篇约在1500字左右,内容涉及中国古今的不同，也讨论中西文化的差异。学习完上下两册书后，基本可以达到HSK的7级至8级水平。 高级部分，以语篇理论为依据，内容以著名作家的原作为主，也有个别不知名作者的优秀作品。学习完三册书后，基本可以达到HSK的11级水平。
Used as the core textbook at Peking University, Boya Chinese is comprised of four levels: elementary, low-intermediate, intermediate and advanced. The elementary level, suitable for beginners, features more than 1200 first-degree words from the Syllabus of Chinese Words. The semi-intermediate level, suitable for students with a 1000-word vocabulary, features functional language and interesting topics. The intermediate level, suitable for foreigners with a 3000-word vocabulary, features more profound topics. The advanced level focuses on the original work of famous writers as well as several anonymous masterpieces. After completing this three-volume series, students should test at level 11 of the HSK. |
